Jared Reckard – Founding Partner
Jared founded Reckard Law LLC in 2021 with a mission to provide affordable, top-tier legal services to those who need them most. He specializes in:
✔ Family Law – Contested and uncontested divorce, dissolution of marriage, custody, child support, post-decree modifications
✔ Criminal Defense – Expungements, protection orders, and more
Jared is a Walsh University graduate and earned his law degree from Capital University Law School. Before founding Reckard Law LLC, he gained experience at both a solo practice and a statewide family law firm.
When he’s not in the office, Jared enjoys cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes with his wife, two daughters, and their Irish Setters.
Collin Finn – Attorney
Collin joined Reckard Law LLC in 2021 and focuses on:
✔ Criminal Defense – Defense strategies, appeals, expungements, and protection orders
✔ Family Law – Divorce (contested and uncontested), dissolutions
A baseball player at Ohio Wesleyan University, Collin later earned his law degree from Capital University Law School. During his studies, he organized a student basketball league, externed at the Supreme Court of Ohio, and gained experience in appellate law.
Beyond work, Collin coaches high school baseball, enjoys outdoor adventures, and is a fan of spy movies and non-fiction books.
David, Taynor, Esq. – Attorney
David joined Reckard Law LLC in 2024. He focuses on Criminal Defense, Expungement, Protection Orders, Contested Divorce, Uncontested Divorce, Dissolutions, Small Business, and Personal Injury.
David has bachelor’s degrees in Theology, Biblical Studies, and Management. He graduated from Capital University Law School in 2023 with a concentration in Litigation. Before joining the firm, David worked as a law clerk and was able to assist in the defense of Dr. William Husel.
Outside of work David enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and their Bernadoodle Buckeye. He is also a youth pastor, an avid golfer, and a season ticket holder to Ohio State Football.
Chelsea – Attorney
Chelsea joined Reckard Law LLC in 2024. She focuses on Contested Divorce, Uncontested Divorce, Dissolution of Marriage, Custody, Child Support, Protection Orders, Post-Decree Modification, Criminal Defense, and Expungement.
Chelsea graduated from Ohio State University with her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and attended Stetson University College of Law in her hometown, St. Petersburg, Florida. After law school, she returned to Columbus to live closer to family and friends. She initially worked for a solo practitioner who practiced personal injury and later worked for a small statewide Family Law firm.
Chelsea also enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, spending time with her cats, and watching her favorite sports teams.
